Obituary for George Allen Britton

George Allen Britton, 52, of Paragould passed away January 17, 2010 at his home. He was born September 6, 1957 in Walnut Ridge to Robert Truman (Tunnie) and Jessie Ruth Britton. He was a member of the Arkansas Board of Opticians and was of Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife, Verna Kay Britton; one son, Jeremy Allen Britton of Marion, AR; a daughter LaReesa Burbridge of Mineral Ridge, OH; his parents, Truman (Tunnie) and Jessie Britton of Sedgewick, AR;  two brothers, Keith Britton of Walnut Ridge and Greg Britton of Thayer, MO; one sister, Phyllis Brewer of Thayer, MO; four grandchildren, Chandler Wyatt  and Walker Zane Burbridge, Braxen Allen and Bryden Chase Britton.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Robert and Lyndle Britton.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips funeral Home with Caleb Adams officiating. Burial will be at Stranger’s Home Cemetery in Alicia.
