Forman
Marion
Formon, 83, of Paragould passed away July 4, 2010 at Greene Acres Nursing
Home. He was born April 18, 1927 in Leachville to James and Hallie Formon.
He was a carpenter who enjoyed singing and writing Christian poetry. In the
last months of his life he came to know the Lord.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Dwight LaDare Formon; four
brothers, James Eldon, Loy Dean, James Donald and Carl Formon; one sister,
Edith Eurlene Formon.
He is
survived by two sons, Teddy Allen (Carrie) Formon of Jonesboro and Vince
Formon of Memphis; three daughters, Cicondra (Hugh) Walton of Jonesboro,
Janet Cheek of Paragould and Marlana (Clint) Cooper of Brookland; two
brothers, Leeman Formon of Paragould and Glen Formon of Lake City; four
sisters, Della Bell of Grubbs, Peggy Johnston of Springfield, MO, Doshie
Kidd of Memphis and Donie Matthews; seven grandchildren and fifteen
great-grandchildren.
The
family will receive friends12:00 – 1:15 PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at
Phillips Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 2 PM, Tuesday,
at Pruetts Chapel Cemetery with Benny Isom officiating.
Pallbearers are Hugh Walton, Jr., Mark Walton, Shawn Walton, Adam Cooper,
Roger Grimm and John Cheek. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin and Marty
Owens.
